Once a user accepts the request, both parties can add songs to the session, creating a dynamic and collaborative listening experience.
This feature, while initially rolling out in regions with Spotify Messages, is expected to have a broader rollout in February.
Listening Activity: Sharing What You Listen To
The second update, Listening Activity, allows users to share their listening habits with their contacts. After activating this feature within the Privacy and Social settings, users can select who can view their listening activity.
If someone has enabled their Listening Activity, other users will see their name and what they're listening to down in the Messages area.
